The Nitecore Summit Air is the perfect winter adventure companion, designed for skiing, mountaineering andof course the Strathpuffer, this power bank has a capacity of 8000mAh and weighs only 135g. Designed for the cold and extreme heat, the Summit Air is operable at temperatures as low as -40°C and at altitudes of up to 10,000 meters, and on a hot day all the way to 60°C. Plenty enough for even the most brutal conditions, hot or cold.
Most power banks lose capacity and struggle to charge in sub-zero conditions. The SUMMIT Air is rated to discharge from -40°C to 60°C, so it keeps working through a full day in the saddle at well below zero. Please note: the charging temperature range is narrower (0°C to 50°C), so give it time to warm up before plugging it in to recharge.
