Suspension Tuning Day – 2020 Pre-order

The idea was simple; set up a site where we could help our customers better understand their bikes, and more importantly their suspension set up. We’ve done a few now and the feedback from them has been phenomenal.

The best £75 I ever spent on my bike – Ryan (Dec ’19 Session).

If you’re wondering what to give someone for Christmas, give them the gift of better suspension set up! We’re offering pre booking for 2020 sessions at 2019 prices, with a free tee shirt to give for Christmas too! What could be better? Sessions will be announced in Jan 2020, but with at least 12 over the year from our base in Hamsterley, County Durham, as well as a possibly other parts of the country hopefully everyone can make at least 1 date.

Pre bookings will be given date priority over open bookings when we announce the dates, and we’ll run enough sessions to keep the numbers to a maximum of 4 riders per day.

Once you purchase the pre-booking we’ll be in touch to sort your t-shirt, so please be sure to leave the billing email/contact for yourself if its a surprise!

Come and join our experienced team as we help you get the best from your full suspension Bird. Meeting at our test site, located at Descend Bike Park at Hamsterley Forest, we’ll guide you through the basics of bike and suspension set up, before fitting a ShockWiz computer to your suspension to analyse its performance during your ride.

Using our pre-determined test loop which lasts around 25 minutes, and takes in high speed berms, rock drops, rooty sections and a technical climb we can quickly assess your suspension performance and help you get the best out of your bike. Adjustments to damping, pressures and token set ups are made during the day in our dedicated (and heated) test hut.

  • Sessions commence at 10am and during the winter continue until dark.
  • Sessions in the Summer finish at 16:00 hours
