I've always liked the Continental tyre compounds, they really do grip better and last longer, but they've been a bit off the pace for a while with poor tubeless support and overly hard sidewalls. However the recent updates have resolved this with good sidewall pliability & effective tubeless setup means that Continental tyres are back at the top of their game.

Not the cheapest option but because they're tough and the BlackChili lasts really well, you'll get favourable miles per £ compared with other options.
